Due to rising administrative costs and other expenses, AST will begin charging for Foundations starting January 1st, 2012. BBST Foundations will cost $125 per attendee and our advanced BBST classes, Bug Advocacy and Test Design, will remain at $200 per attendee. The Instructor’s Course however will still be offered to prospective Instructor Candidates at no charge.

While we understand that this is a big increase for a previously free member benefit this increase allows us to pay for the administrative costs of the servers and software that help deliver the BBST without sacrificing the level of quality you have come to expect from AST. We feel that even with this increase our classes remain a considerable bargain when compared to other software testing training options.

With that said there is still time to take Foundations for free,  but you must act soon. From now until December 31st, 2011, anyone who signs up to take Foundations either in February or March will be able to take the class for free.

Any and all sign ups on or after January 1st, 2012 will be subject to the $125 fee. – No exceptions!

So if you have wanted to take Foundations, and you still want to take advantage of the opportunity to take the class for FREE, now is the time. Don’t delay!
