Description
Modern Australia was built on the back of pioneers, from the early European migrants to the explorers like Burke & Wills. These pioneers paved the way for the development of the country into the great nation it is today. They took risks and discovered ways to adapt to the new environments they found.
The world of IT has its own history of pioneers too. Agile, DevOps, IoT and machine learning are just a few of the influences that are changing the way IT systems are built, delivered and consumed. A pioneering spirit would seem to be beneficial in this fast-paced world of change.
Why then is the software testing industry so entrenched in old ideas that serve to keep it standing still rather than breaking the new ground we need to keep pace with the constant technological changes around us?
We want to hear your stories and experiences of being a pioneer within your organization. How are you breaking new ground, trying new approaches, trailblazing and inspiring others to do the same? Which innovative approaches have worked and which haven’t? Share the good, the bad and the ugly and what you’ve learned along the way.
