And our community? It’s full of brilliant, passionate people who are looking for connection, growth, and purpose in their work!
We need leaders who want to bring fresh energy to AST. Leaders with new ideas for how we support testers in the trenches, how we reach those just starting out, and how we keep this community human in an industry that can feel anything but.

We’re looking for board members who:

✔️ Aren’t afraid to ask hard questions or push for meaningful change
✔️ Bring diverse perspectives, experiences, and ideas to the table
This is your chance to stand up for testers everywhere, to build something that outlasts us, and to make sure that this incredible community continues to be a safe place where quality professionals of all backgrounds and experience find their people, their confidence, and their voice.

A Couple of Nominee Requirements
- Nominees should be an active member of AST for at least a year
- All nominations must be seconded by another member of AST (If you need your second let us know and we'll chat!)
- Be willing to commit 2 - 5 hours a week to advancing the AST Mission
***Closing date for nominations is July 31, 2025
What happens next?
- We'll check your eligibility and be in touch to set up a time to meet with you, get to know you a bit.
- There'll be a candidate questionnaire where you get to make your pitch, and then a round of voting.
