This October started my second year as a member of the AST board of directors. Over the last year, with the help of several people, we were able to bring the WHOSE skill book live, and also begin refreshing exercises and course material in the AST BBST class series. I am still very passionate about those things, I believe that education is the foundation of what the Association for Software Testing brings to the greater software community.
Over the next year, I am going to broaden my focus. AST is full of outliers. People that are smart and incredibly dedicated to developing their understanding of software testing. Despite that, it can be difficult to break through and begin a project. I would like to engage new members, and invite our you all to bring your ideas and passions. We would be happy to give you an avenue to create new programs, publish new works, and share your ideas with the world. All it takes is an idea, and the energy to see it through.
I would like for the Association for Software Testing to broaden our reach and share good work with the world one person at a time.
If this is you, send us an email and lets get started.
